The bed you make, is the bed you sleep in. My mom always said this to me, especially when it came to friends, dating, and lifestyle choices. On a rainy, stormy Wednesday night many years ago back in Trinidad as we light candles and looked for batteries for the flashlight, as electricity kept going off and on, I asked her what she really meant when saying that sentence to me.
With a big smile and loving glow in her eyes she said. Little Mr Trouble, you must always be careful not to make stupid choices, they come back to bite you, everything you do in life cost you somehow, sometime, or something. If the bed you sleep in is not a good bed, the sleep can’t be good. The same for your friends, relationships and life.
The answer to the question of how much money you will need for retirement, depends on who you ask. We suggest you take a time-out from your work-life routine, pack light, and travel to experience food, culture, places, and people. The trap of planning your next stage of life with your work-mind, is like planning around work, and not you.
The first step turns your stomach upside-down. The fourth day of walking on the beach and deciding where to dine your stomach and mind are suddenly on loving life mode, yes you have bills and other responsibilities at home and work to attend to. Life is not interested in your plans, life runs on time, we have seen members return home after a two month time-out, and change. Their new life got active, simple, loving, and happier.
